This program, unlike the regular Academic reading and writing program, is designed to challenge and engage students with GRE/LSAT level comprehension passages, classic English grammar and composition manuals, and recent editorial columns from prestigious publications such as The Economist, The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Washington Post.
In writing, we shall commence with the art of crafting a beautiful sentence. Gradually, we will work through the process of producing university-level essays in different genres, mastering advanced rules of punctuation, vocabulary, composition, rhetoric, tone, and grammar.

Delve into critical text, media, and discourse analysis, and ignite your mind with our thought-provoking readings. This program is perfect for advanced high school and university students wanting to expand their minds by engaging with the giants of the non-fiction.
Students will learn to approach complex texts, master the art of deciphering nested arguments, gain familiarity with the art of rhetoric, dialogue with the author, and ask critical questions. Students will develop translatable skills in active note-taking, summarizing and paraphrasing.
With this intellectually stimulating program, participants will witness the Foundations' core philosophy—i.e., a well-formed mind transcends a well-educated mind—come to life.
Geometry - The Art of Problem Solving

Historically, geometry has been highly esteemed as both an art and a foundational discipline in mathematics. It was pursued not only to sharpen one's thinking but also to lay the groundwork for all mathematical thought.
I invite you to join me on a journey to explore this beautiful and thought-provoking art. Although the scope of this program is advanced, it is accessible to anyone interested in understanding what it means to think mathematically. You do not need to be a math aficionado to appreciate the process of mathematical thinking. Even if you are not fond of mathematical proofs, you may find yourself drawn to this subject.
To begin, we will read Paul Abbott's classic work, Teach Yourself Geometry (1948), and complement it with the Oxford mathematician David Acheson's book, The Wonder Book of Geometry (2020). Additionally, we will explore related concepts in algebra, trigonometry, architecture, and physics.
